Aragonite and Smithsonite crystals on a gossan matrix. The slender chisel tipped Aragonite crystals have very good translucency. They range up to 1cm in length. The opposite side is covered in sparkly clear Smithsonite crystals with rhombic shape. They have excellent luster. Overall condition is very good. Included with specimen is lab study card which identifies the Aragonite using EDS ( Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy) A nice showy example from the famous Namibian locality the Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Oshikoto Region, Namibia.
