This is a beautiful specimen native Silver in Dolomite. The Silver stands out nicely in contrast to white-grey Dolomite. Along with the Silver there is small patch of bronze coloured Nickeline and two small red areas of a Proustite-Pyrargyrite Series mineral. Pyrargyrite is also known as Ruby Silver. This is a vein section cut in half. From the Keeley-Frontier Mine, South Lorrain Township, Cobalt-Gowganda region, Timiskaming District, Ontario, Canada of the well known Silver producing area Silver Centre south of Cobalt Ontario.
