Pearly white Dolomite rhombic crystals (up to .5cm) perched on a Dolostone matrix. Mixed with the Dolomite crystals are Scalenohedral Calcite crystals ranging in size to 1cm. Some of the Calcite crystals are doubly terminated. This specimen has a nice sparkle as both the Dolomite and Calcite have excellent luster. Excellent condition with clean and intact crystals. From the New Thorold quarry, Thorold Quarry (Walker Quarry), Thorold Township, Niagara Region, Ontario, Canada. Dimensions 7.5x5x3cm 54.4 grams.
